In 2020 the third generation Mazda BT50 was released. While previous generations had been closely related to the Ford Ranger, the new model is a lightly revised Isuzu D-Max (which was also refreshed in 2020) with only some styling changes to Mazda's 'Kodo' design language to distinguish the two models.
