CANbus steering wheel control interface for Mercedes C (W203), CLK( W208) (W209), E (W210) -Class vehicles with original Mercedes COMAND 2.0 head units.
This interface uses ISO connections behind the original radio to allow the use of the original steering wheel control buttons with a new aftermarket head-unit. It also provides CANbus outputs as well as ignition.
CANbus steering wheel control interface for Mercedes C (W203), CLK( W208) (W209), E (W210) -Class vehicles with original COMAND 2.0 head units.
This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume and track skip buttons.
The CANbus interface will also provide ignition, illumination, reverse gear, handbrake and speed pulse outputs.
The interface has 2 loose wires which need to be connected to the 18pin Command connector
Only compatible with 2004 onward facelift SL R230 cars, not compatible with earlier pre facelift models.
Cars with original harman/kardon or BOSE amplified audio systems will require an additional interface to retain the audio with the original amplifier.
